«Música de caballo triste» is the first title of my friend Cicada Editora, where I was invited to work on the editorial design and illustrate the translations of Samantha Fain’s poems, inspired by the world of Bojack Horseman.

Alcoholic animals, pop music, sonnets, showbiz culture, abysses, metamorphosis, supplication: Música de caballo triste is a journey through the subjectivities of our time, embodied in the characters of Bojack Horseman. Samantha Fain’s raw and sensitive poems elucidate the internal languages and logic of each character, and show us their most intimate desires and terrors. In them there is never a definitive closure, only openings, questions, voices that exceed themselves.
